Benteke leaving us was just an all round disaster for both us and him.
You mean from being worshipped by club fans and first pick for his country to being ridiculed by fans and ignored by his country....yes so but his bank account is fine.

It’s always nice to see Newcastle get beat. Especially on their birthday.

I hadn’t realised they were formed by a merger of two clubs. That makes them a kind of Victorian Thames Valley Royals.

Plastic twats.

Please don't apologise

I have to admit still having massive love for James Milner. What a selfless footballer. He plays in any position, never complains, incredibly reliable and the consummate professional. I wish it had all been with us but he’s gone on and had a superb career. Just solid in every aspect of the game.

How ridiculous to have the Liverpool and Manchester derbies, potentially 2 cracking matches, on at the same weekend, when many other weekends, you get a very poor selection of matches on so called 'Super Sunday'. Whoever compiled the Premier League fixtures this season needs sacking.

I think the double header of derby games is deliberately designed for Sky to be able to promote a special 'Super Sunday'.  On the evidence of the first 38 minutes of the Merseyside derby, it's a bit of a fail.

Everton have been truly awful so far (70 minutes).  I think I read the stat that they have touched the ball twice in the Liverpool 18 yard box?

Liverpool supporting mate crying foul over Everton’s penalty. Saying how they were cheated. I reminded him of Steven Gerrard’s illustrious career.

God, Everton are 10th. By the way every sports reporter was banging on about their crisis, you'd have thought they had been marooned at the bottom of the table.

The lower part of the table is tight. I think they were in the bottom 3 but the big win vs West Ham bounced them up to 13th or something. It’s a crisis I suppose given how wasteful they have been with their money, and when you consider they got the best part of £130m for Stones and Lukaku alone.

It was a clear penalty.  Lovren's decision making is abysmal, he's a give away-goal about to happen.

Man U have barely touched the ball at home to Man City. We used it a load vs better sides and I just hate that tactic especially playing at home.

And there you go. 1-0 Man City - Silva
