It might be "smalltime" but our neighbours' woes have given me some cheer today at least.

Brentford will be in the top 6 soon.

They're on a brilliant run. Maybe Dean Smith is the real deal.

I really rate him. Loses his best players and builds a team that is competitive and plays good football. Would be more than happy if he ended up in our dugout.

Have to say Stoke vs Leicester was a cracking game

The type of fixture I like to watch. An evenly matched game. I have no problem with games like Chelsea v Man U and Man City v Arsenal tomorrow (even if I do think City will win comfortably), but I have no interest in watching one of the top teams steamrolling one of the strugglers.  I know Chelsea have slipped up against Burnley and Palace this season and United lost at Huddersfield but they are exceptions to the norm.

Man of the match too (went through a hard time off the field at the start of the season as well).  You just know his form would desert him the moment he pulled on a Villa shirt though!

This. That's one thing the Championship thankfully avoids. Anyone can beat anyone.

He'd probably be deployed as a midfield dog of war for us by twat Spud.

I think the preimer league over hypes it, with unpredictableness and the reapeating of word, 'compelling'  by Scudamore. What's the point of anyone can beat anyone, when it's the same teams winning the trophies?
