No sympathy for Everton at all. They absolutely revelled in our demise
I think that is a bit unfair - having lived on Merseyside for over 20 years now I have only ever come across a handful of Evertonians with that attitude - in the main they are proud (as are we Villa fans) that our fixture is the longest standing fixture (in the top flight)
When we were relegated each and every Evertonian I know phoned/e-mailed or text me to offer their sincere regards in respect of coming straight back
I take no enjoyment from their current plight as I can empathise with everything they are going through right now.
Looking at our respective histories, club size, fan base etc I can think of no other club so similar to our own - even though we think ourselves unique!l
Hoping we are not playing each other in the second tier next season - as that would make it even tougher for us to get promoted if we don't do so this season
Totally agree VCTM...this subject has cropped up on here a few times and there is always a difference of opinion.  I can only speak from experience. I work in a large workforce who are primarily Everton or Liverpool fans and I've had nothing but sympathy of the Everton fans and want up back up as they always enjoyed their trips to Villa Park. Liverpool fans couldn't have been more polar opposite in my experience and their one-eyed view on their team and any others for that matter I find on a par with Man Utd fans and the jawdee's.  I personally hope they sort themselves out.

After the way they shafted a charity close to my heart I'm very much enjoying their current problems.
Sorry to hear that Chris - I too have heard some shocking "stories" about how Lerner disrespected Acorns at the end of his tenure - I have no proof as to the validity of the anecdotes, however, if true it is a big shame.

I never used to mind Everton until then and to be fair when they learnt a family friend had been caught up in the Manchester attack were absolutely brilliant, however the way they behaved where the charity was concerned was disgusting. To be fair to one of their employees he was mortified and very embarrassed and had the decency to say so.

Sunderland are losing at home to Bolton. They’ve not won at home for 17 games. Last home win was in December last year!

I am kind of amazed they have kept Grayson. Are Sunderland fans so beat down they are going to just accept him taking them down? They need a manager change badly.

Celtic are unlucky to be an illegal goal down to Bayern.

Chelsea 3-0 down. Conte could be joining the League of Ancelotti, Koeman, De Boer and Shakespear.

It doesn't really matter bearing in mind Atletico Madrid are somehow failing to beat a fictional team, for the second time in a row.
