You could make a pretty good case for Kane being the best forward in the world today.
Hi I've got Cristiano Ronald on the phone and he's pissed off.

Yeah and I'm sure you'll be delighted to know he's my Fantasy Premier League captain!

A weekend  that has  defined  a few things in the top two  divisions.

Man City look  as if they are being handed the title, Spurs starting to look at home at Wembley perhaps their main rivals for the premiership.

At the other end Everton slipping, Swansea  and Palace look vulnerable.

In our Division, not much  has been made of  Norwich's win today.  I did  take notice however.  Need one or two to start slipping  up, e.g.Cardiff, Wolves,Norwich, Derby and Leeds.

At  least we have a rest this midweek.

No offence to you in particular mate, but if ever I begin to suffer from insomnia I will cure it by asking someone to start talking about fantasy football just before I intend to go to sleep.

I haven't done a fantasy team for the last few years. I never did any good in the grand scheme of things but I used to smash our works league. Particularly the one year when I used what little cash I had left to take a punt on Bolton's Michael Ricketts in the one season he actually looked decent and got capped.

Amavi is about to line up against Neymar on BT Sport.  The Marseille team is full of ex-PL players, only Payet of any note, yet they're third in the league (or were before the weekend).

A totally deluded Liverpool fan on Talksport was  giving his opinion that most of their team would walk into any other PL side. Possibly naming Mignolet as an example was a mistake. When they bought him from Sunderland I genuinely thought it was as a half decent, experienced back up. But this guy seemed to genuinely believe he could oust the likes of Cech, De Gea and Lloris. He also had a cockney accent as opposed to a scouse one. Which most Liverpool supporting Talksport callers tend to have.

I just watched the villa highlights which were enjoyable

But my God we're a million miles from the kind of football Spurs are playing

When people start talking about their fantasy league teams it’s similar to when they start talking about their cars, I zone out completely.

Oh god yes, thankfully the only person I know who plays golf is my brother and he knows not to ever talk about it to me.
