Not that I care that much, but I would have to think that at least three of the English clubs have got a decent chance of winning the Champions a league this season.

Don't worry. Come the knockout rounds I start putting money on them to go through. That normally stops them. 😉

I care a lot about the English clubs in the Champions League.

Year on year I am anxious to see them do as badly as possible.

Why would any Villa fan want otherwise? For one, it dilutes the purity of the club we belong to having won it (see Chelsea winning it - what a fucking choker that was), and secondly, it just reinforces that disgusting cabal of media-wanked rich clubs.

Fuck that. I want every single one of them to lose and get knocked out at the earliest opportunity.

i'm all bitter and twisted the same as well
although i do remember half wanting Blackburn to win once donkeys years ago when Hodgson was their manager, cant remember why
and i also cheered on Fulham when they were in the europa final, maybe its a Hodgson thing

obviously two weak moments there when i fell off the wagon but i've been pretty steady since

Several clappy emoticon thingys for our Mafia friend

I wouldn't mind seeing Celtic do well (not that that'll ever happen) but utter humiliation for the English teams would be nice.

The only English team I don't mind winning in Europe is TNS.

I think it's about time I invoked the Acker Doctrine here.

I do that every time someone mentions betting on football.

I can't wish Celtic well while they have that narcissistic dullard Rodgers in charge.
