Having stayed awake long enough to see the Man City highlights on MOTD have to say that some of the passes made by De Bruyne were sublime, what a player he is.

I certainly don't miss Jordan Ayew. What a sulky, miserable sod.

Good player. He is absolutely on fire this season. He wasn't bad last year either.

De Bruyne is magnificent. Chelsea gave up on him too soon and he’s turning out to be sensational player. His vision is just tremendous and what a wide pairing he makes for them with Sane who is another very talented player.

They kept hold of Benitez, we appointed a risk with not much experience and then old boys club Stevie Boof. Benitez would get us promoted, Bruce would get them relegated.

Watching Southampton, the way their players understand the importance of moving and creating space when they have the ball, giving each other options.

Something I haven't seen us do for the best part of to decades.
