At the moment the playoff sides are shaping up like this (according to current FIFA rankings)

Switzerland (1210)
Italy (1035)
Croatia  (977)
Norn Iron (945)
Sweden (918)
Denmark (848)
ROI (769)
Greece (665)

Norn Iron could be seeded!

They won't be, as their ranking has taken a hit since the last ones were released due to successive defeats.

Also stuff I read suggests Denmark will have a big boost in rankings, not sure why?

Four points from Montenegro and Romania is a decent return. It's possible that some bad results from a few years ago have now dropped off and no longer count for their rankings. Not sure, though.

The Swiss must be cheesed off not qualifying after winning 9 out of 10.

The players will berne with anger tonight.

They also beat Poland 4-0 in the previous round of qualifiers.

Yes but I'm assuming that had already been accounted for in the rankings which Comrade Blitz quoted above.

Hopefully Italy draw Greece so at least one of them gets knocked out.

I think the Republic of Ireland would beat Switzerland or Denmark and possibly Croatia over two legs. Clearly Italy are the ones to avoid.

So given your betting record they'd lost to Switzerland Denmark and Croatia and smash Italy.  :P

I have my ups and downs but my betting record is quite respectable. Bulgaria not being able to beat Luxembourg did for me tonight. I tend to whinge longer about my bad luck than I revel in my good luck. I already have my weekend master plans drawn up. This time next year I will be a millianaire. :D
