Great, a country that is approx. 16x14 miles with all the footballing power at its disposal giving the minnows of England such a tough time.

I was out tonight unusually and saw it in the pub .  Five minutes from the end I went for a piss with England 2-0 to the good, when I came back it was 4-0.

I was thinking prior to going out, is this the poorest line-up I've ever seen for England?

That would do. Scotland need to win all games to secure second so long as England don't lose to Slovakia. I can't really see us qualifying but it's nice to see us in with a vague chance, even that looked unlikely a few games ago.

4-0 really flattered England last night. It was a poor performance overall and illustrates all that is wrong with this qualifying process. England always roll over opposition  qualify and fail at the tournament. Hopefully Southgate is making plans for a better than average tournament next year.

I think Scotland's dismal record can be explained by the fact that other nations are so envious of the wonderful land and bright intelligent gifted population that they just try much much harder to beat them and mostly succeed partially by their own effort but mostly by Scottish compassion.
