That line up just looked like a 0-0 damage limitation job to me. Full backs in midfield (Amavi is not and never will be a midfielder. Bacuna is just neither here nor there lets face it) And we hardly set the world alight (As per).

Considering we were down to 10 men and had a young lad from Biggleswade Town up front for most of the match, i thought it was a decent point.

it won't be on the evidence of this season though. It will be based on teams likely coming down, and mainly the fact that we will have tremendous resources and a manager who has got promoted several times from this division even if he has looked massively average so far. I think 7-1 is worth a punt because those odds will come down closer to the season.

If we can play like that for the majority of the season we'll piss it. But not having your main striker during pre season (and possibly the alternative one too) is just plain shitty luck.

We played quite well, by our standards. Our passing was still pretty poor, we didn't create much as most of our best chances came from their fuck ups and freekicks. They were crap as well. Sums up our season overall, a crap side got a result against us and we top the Woulda Coulda Shoulda league.

I liked the young lad. Needs a lot of bulking up and game time.on loan, but he was very awkward customer. Some potential there.

Yeah in the end. I was talking more about how Bruce went into the game rather than the circumstances during it. I still can't settle my stomach enough to find a point at home to Brighton particularly great though.
That being said he chose to overpay for a striker with a questionnable injury record. You'd think we'd learn from all the previous sicknotes we've bought. #Blamanche Ron
