Garry Thompson just said this formation is ridiculous, they couldn't have practiced this all week surely!

We put in about 2 decent minutes in that half. If Blackburn were anything other than total shite we'd be getting hammered.

I really cannot see with 'performances' like this how we're going to win the 25+ games needed next season. Awful.

A typical low quality first half performance by us.

Lansbury on the right wing, Bacuna on the left, fuckin joker Bruce!

Other way round actually.

Dire formation though. Lansbury isn't a left winger, Gardener is crap, and Hourihane has hardly touched the ball. Hogan may as well not be playing.

He is going to have to undergo some sort of renaissance to change the way he is and the way the team is set up to play.
I don't expect it.

It's my last football show of the season if you want to listen in to a heavily Villa biased affair with plenty good indie music scattered throughout http://www.mearnsfm.org.uk/listen-live

(Decent) requests welcomed.

The Rat by The Walkmen. Dedicated to our Small Heath underlings. Please.
just heard it for the first time, cracking track Jimbo, consider it added to the playlist

Can I request Shame by Eat - for all this talk of supporting the oppo?
coming up next mate

feeling v pleased with myself for dedicating my last track to Gabby - you're the one for me fatty

Ha! Great stuff, enjoying the show.

The Man Utd FA cup swerve you mentioned was 2000 wasn't it? I remember thinking even  if we beat Chelsea it was a bit hollow when the defending champions can't be arsed.

He says he's not happy with the overall performances so at least he acknowledges it. He says it after most games though and we've yet to see any change.

They pulled out to play in that club Championship. We played 'lucky losers' Darlington in round 3, after they'd already lost in round 2
