Not that I'm too worried, but I've seen a few reports online about Paul Robinson's reaction to the goal, i.e. kicking and punching Chester. He might find himself in bother with the FA.

I hope he doesnt get banned, I'd love to see him play those last two games for SHA. He's shit.

On leaving we were mulling over what team we should play at Blackburn.  I think the first name on the team sheet should be Libor Kozak, the second should be Tommy Elphick, the third should be Mark Bunn, the fourth should be Micah Richards (at centre back), fifth Gary Gardner, sixth Gabby then perm any five from the rest of the squad excluding Johnny Kodjia.  Elphick captain of course.
We're you walking up Trinity Road towards Aston Church after the game ? Did you overhear our conversation because that's our identical first three names although we decided to change Bunn for an emergency transfer request to MiddlesVilla to see if we could get Guzan back in time 🤔

Yup most of their fans can't stand "Gobbo". They want him banned just as much as we do and to play the Polish kid instead.

Don't mind DLBIA at the final whistle.

That clubland classic tune we now play when we walk out of the tunnel is awful though.

Are we waiting to get back in the prem before bringing back Escape.

Given we play plenty of Sabbath pre match can't we just play another track from them when we come out?

Was sent this by mates in Germany yesterday. "Best song of the week. Pure goosebumps"
Not a fan of Oasis personally. But Iike this very much.  There have been many attempts by fans to force an anthem on the club but these things come naturally out of the situation / circumstances. For whatever reason this has stuck and struck a chord with our following. Who gives a shit that they're from Manchester.

Know what you mean about Oasis, but I've always had a soft spot for this one. And as you say this has struck a

chord. I think it's great that it came about naturally after that win at Reading, and it's a good sign that the club has picked up on this.

Not a problem with Oasis being Manc's, don't Man City do hey Jude at the Ethiad ?

This has obviously gone down very well far beyond B6.

That's class. What a feeling it must be to be a player stood in front of the Holte, the best part of 40,000 Villa absolutely belting out a song like that and the sheer joy and adulation.

If that doesn't want to make you feelmlike youre playing for a big ckub and make yiu want to give your right bollock to succeed, nothing will. Superb.

The best noise since that guttural 30,000 strong roar in the last 5 at Wembley
I've said before I'm no fan of us singing along with that song due to the bands heavy links to man city. But after watching that I have to say I was wrong. That was awesome.

After my troubles of convincing my son in maintaining a love for Villa over the past few years I called him over at full-time to see the result and he gave a loud "Yes"! and then followed it up with "Aston Villa 1 Birmingham Pity 0". Ha ha I thought. Nice one son.

If and I think it's still a big if, they do go down, the decision to appoint Zola when they did will surely be the single most catastrophic event not only in their murky history but also in football as a whole. Im struggling to think of a footballing decision that has led to such a dramatic turnaround in fortunes in such a short time period. It's just such a poetically brilliant scenario that's unfolding, you really couldn't make it up

I must admit my first thoughts when I saw Gabby was in the squad were not positive.  But I did hope that Bruce had done it in the knowledge that he had a habit of scoring in the El Crapico and winding their fans and team up.  So it turned out, and you have to say well done Bruce for getting a "tactic" right for once.

Did anyone notice that the first thing Gabby did when he came on was barge into Gardener.

He's still on the shitlist but his stock has risen immeasurably.

Yeah ran straight onto the pitch and shoulder barged him. The whole stadium was given a lift when he came on. Also loved it when he put in that challenge over by the Sty dwellers then turned to them and gave it the big un.

Yeah when he came on the nature of how the game was going had sucked the life out of the crowd and the earlier atmosphere was now flat, within a few minutes he had lit the fuse again, this was his game. I'm hoping now that we can end on this and he will move on in the summer.

He certainly ruffled Shotton who up till then looked very assurred, he went to pieces after the booking.

I said that first half SHA looked a bit more agressive than us, crap but agressive in getting after loose balls, Gabby changed that, he didn't give any of their players any time on the ball and he even popped up in the right back spot toward the end to shepherd tha ball out for a goal kick.

A truely outstanding cameo appearance.
