Nice this from stand in Spurs boss Ryan Mason tonight after the win v Soton "It's been a busy day at the club, it's also four years to the day since Ugo Ehiogu passed so I want to dedicate that to him and his family - everyone at the club still remembers and thinks of him".

Jesus Christ, four years already? RIP Ugo.

Wow, I did think of Ugo as the camera panned to the scoreboard as his banner is positioned right beside it.

Lovely touch by Ryan Mason.

And five years to the day that Prince died. Christ, life flashes by.

Mason was one of the three Spurs shithouses that combined to get Benteke sent off in 2014. Not that I'm bitter, mind...

However, after his kind words re Ugo, I have decided to reduce his punishment (when I become World President) to a custodial sentence. I may even have him put in the same block as Blair, Cameron and Johnson!

Nah, Mason can do one. The same day was nine years since my old man died too and he didn't say a word about that!

RIP Ugo. One of the very best I've seen.

He was a tremendous defender, but not really a footballer.

Sorry about your dad, btw.

I still smile at how the PA announcers at away grounds struggled to pronounce his name, especially in the early days when he was a young substitute and not well known. A lot of them just bottled it and mumbled something that sounded slightly like they thought his name should sound.

Was watching a game from early 2000s the other day on the Vilaboy channel and Ugo and Jloyld were both starting.

Unbelievable to think we've lost both of them in last 5 years. And Dalian of course.

Does Villaboy still post new content/old vids? He was on a roll for a while, very generously sharing old stuff but I've not seen updates on FB for quite a while.

My initial nickname for him was the Villain from Batfink. Was’nt a million miles away.
