Usually I'd want to win this but just be happy with at least a draw and to get this game out of the way. This time though I want us to properly smash them although a dull 1-0 will, of course, do.

Fuck a draw against these arseholes, especially now Arthur Daley is in charge of them.

Bruce better get these lazy, half hearted shirkers off the beach one last time. I'm already sick of watching the non football under him, cap it off with a defeat against those pikeys and I wouldn't be arsed if he got the sack in the summer.

taking my 9 year old son to his first derby match
and my 11 year old daughter to her first football match ever
she doesnt really like football but wanted to go to a game to see what all the fuss was about, so i thought i'd throw her in at the deep end she will soon know if its for her or not

its not good that Redknapp has taken over,
whatever we might think of him he has never been a negative manager, and he will have them believing that they can win this,
just hope our players are up for it, because they will be,
still think we will nick it in an obviously shit game with zero football played but on this occasion i wont care

The one thing in Bruce's favour is that he is fully aware of the importance of the game. As shit as we have become we're not as bad as them.  Cut out the mistakes and we'll beat them with better football.
better football tends to climb out the window when they walk through the door, unfortunately. Not like it's really ever been living at VP this season

He sounds well up for the challenge. The gist of the BBC article is that he took the job because he was bored.

Its a good ploy by them....they need one result to be safe realistically and he'll motivate them to that, probably at our expense.
I doubt he'll be there for long!

He'll have them up for this. Our bunch offer nothing. 0-2.

It was too much to hope that Zola would stick it out. If this game was three weeks ago...

Harry has often had the measure of us, no matter who the manager has been. He'll know all about our chronic lack of preparation, not to mention our propensity to shoot ourselves in the foot. That's why our attitude has to be spot on for this game.

Any one of our players going into this expecting an easy ride will be sorely mistaken. With our main goal threat gone, it could be a chance for RHM to come of age, but we'll have to be brave, and I'm not sure we will be. Knowing this club as I do, I'll be stunned if we can find it in ourselves to get a win. I'll be reasonably happy with a draw. But this has got 'balls up' written all over it. 0:2.

Prove me wrong, Villa.

A nothing game. Playing for pride I guess that's the best you can say.

Not sure many of the players have any, and do the newer ones to B6 realise the importance to the fans of this particular match?

So 'Arry starts on the training ground with that lot tomorrow...if he can get them to put in a better performance in 4 days than Bruce can manage with our lot in 6 months, then it will answer a lot of questions about our management and coaching team. A third defeat on the bounce, particularly to that lot, would be unacceptable.
