I have literally just learned this is the only fixture in the Championship on Saturday, everyone else is on Good Friday. Why is this?
As a gesture of goodwill by the club to the church. They didn't want to disrupt the Good Friday celebrations by having the game on the same day.

Really? Its never bothered us in the past

When was the last time we played on Good Friday?

so what's the difference to not playing on Good Friday, but playing on Easter Monday?

All a bit nonsense, with no real reason to why. Oh well, lets hope we don't get any injuries.

Great news!

I discovered one of our strikers is fit and available again whilst on the stadium tour today.

The bad news is that it's...

Good Friday is a religious festival. Easter Monday is the vicar's day off.

Maybe GA will score his first goal for what seems a lifetime against the Noses 😬

May be not good friday but easter sunday against chelsea when we kicked off very early and the church rang their bells in protest

Dont know if easter sunday counts as being holier than good friday

It's much the same. Maybe it's because they're not used to matches on Good Friday.

I thought I read a piece in the Birmingham Mail saying he would be available for the QPR game a couple of weeks ago.

I would hope with play offs gone, the manager will be looking forward to next season, as he has suggested. Hogan and Kodjia will feature and I think Bree must get a game at right back as he is the future. Two games in such a short space of time will probably be too much for Jedinak as well, and hope Houriane is involved. I would go attacking tomorrow and Jack involved as well and Andre Green another option
