I have literally just learned this is the only fixture in the Championship on Saturday, everyone else is on Good Friday. Why is this?

As a gesture of goodwill by the club to the church. They didn't want to disrupt the Good Friday celebrations by having the game on the same day.

It's fecked up some of my mates as they have season tickets so will be at VP obviously. If we were playing on Friday they'd have been able to go to the Vic on Saturday as Bromsgrove will be champions with a win. I'm going to be a shameless glory hunter and miss the Reading game.

Villa home win 2-1. Personally I do not think any games should be played on a Good Friday or Easter Monday.

I agree, but only because public transport is generally even shitter than usual.

Well, tell Fulham that.

We've ended up at a massive disadvantage just because some bloke was rubbish at hiding when the Romans came round.

Shouldn't it be Sky we tell?

Even Steve Bruce doesn't know why we're playing Saturday not Friday, and he's not happy about it (just seen his press conference).

I take it the decision was made not to move it to the Friday, when there was no realistic possibility of us making the play offs.

Can I have it?

You are welcome to it. You will have to get a paper one sorted though as I am off on holiday in the morning so can't get my card to you.

You might need to sit in the row in front though as the lanky lad with a season ticket in front has called shotgun on sitting in my seat!

Also aren't all the Good Friday "festivities" wrapped up by midday? When do people start arriving for a 3 pm kick off?

We'll do them 3-1. Kodija x2 and Hogan.

I hope nobody's turned up at Villa Park today then.
