'Morning folks! 'Tis a spectacularly sunny start to the day down here on the saaarrrfff coast, so I'm feeling particularly optimistic about today's visit to the mighty Burton Albion. I haven't forgotten the chants of 'Aston Villa, we're coming for you' that rang around the cavernous Pirelli Stadium last season, so I hope our mob approach today with girded loins & steely hearts from the get-go. Any road up, I've gone for a cheeky 0-0: & mutcho rejoicing from the Villa hordes braving the long trek  up T' A38. UTV!

A composed 2-0, for a change, and we're still 250/1 with skybet for promotion, just popped another tenner on. Believe.
If anyone wants to make any guaranteed money you can lay Villa for promotion (i.e. make the opposite bet) at odds of 100 on Betfair so whatever the outcome you will make a profit.

Bet £10 @ 250  = £2,500 (winnings plus stake back)
Lay £20 @ 100 = £1,980 (loss)

Profit = £520

If unbelievably we don't get promoted you will make £20 on the lay (less 5% commission on betfair) minus your £10 on Sky. You will also need £1,980 in betfair to cover the potential loss.

What does lay mean?
