I remember singing Big Fat Ron's Claret and Blue Army throughout the entire half time at the Baseball Ground (if memory serves)

I remember 5 blokes singing "Misfit" by Curiosity Killed The Cat, including the actions, in the pissing rain at Huddersfield in 1987.

I've never heard it since.

Pre match in the Aston Tavern we often used to sing the full length versions of 'A  little bit of heaven fell from the sky one day' and 'Holte Enders in the sky.' Something I haven't heard for years.

Sheff Wednesday away - opening game of BFR's first season - we sang this the whole freaking game! From 2-0 down we won 3-2.

"When you're smiling..."
"Bertie Mee said to Bill Shankley 'have you heard of the North Bank Highbury?' Bill says 'no, I don't think so but I've heard of the Villa Holte End'"
"The bells are ringing ..."
"You're going home in a f**king ambulance"
"If you've a troublesome sore tooth (sore tooth) ..."
"I'd walk a mile and a bit to rub you face in the s**t, oh Francis / Wilson / add another"
"We hate Nottingham Forest, we hate Derby too ..."
"F**K 'em all, f**k 'em all; f**k West Ham Chelsea and Millwall. 'Cos we won't be mastered by no cockney b**tards..."
"In the Liverpool slums, they look in the dustbins for something to eat ..."

A few of the oldies from my early Villa-supporting days. When you're smiling is the one I always thought should have become uniquely ours.

Gary Shaw, Gary Shaw, Gary Gary Shaw, when he's got the ball, he's bound to score........

Can we start hanging an opposition scarf from the rafters and then set it alight as the teams come out again? ???

Those were the days my friend.....sorry

Used to love "The Bells Are Ringing". First time I heard it was Everton away in the Milk Cup semi, when Richardson handled on the line with his arm in plaster. I was only a kid.

Guess the stupid spiced up version and the video on the Holte steps killed that. But along with the AV floodlights, it makes me smile  :)

"My eyes have seen ......." when it meant something.
