I'd be more confident if we didn't have so many players out so i'd take a draw.

I fancy us to get a result albeit probably not a great performance

Team picks itself

Not sure that we should be giving Bruce the excuse about players out, how many of the unavailable s would make much difference to the first 11?

I'm not a massive fan of Bruce (as our manager. Seems like a nice fella) but Hogan, Green, and possibly Bacuna would all be in the first XI. The others would be among the first picks from the bench.

Hogan has shown absoloutely nothing in the games so far and does not look like he can play with Kodija and Bacuna is crap.
Green looks promising.

Was hoping to get to this one, as it isn't far and could combine it with a work visit. Sadly I will be in Dublin talking to potato farmers instead.

I think we will win it 1-0 . Hourihane goal first half then a 15% possession backs against the wall last 40 minutes.

Having that many players out does limit our options. We can't really afford to lose many more players.

Hogan has played, what, 3 games? And if Green passes the Chicago approval test, then that's 20% of the outfield players that could have made us better.

Yep, too early to write off Hogan.

We'll almost certainly be missing 8 midfielders/attackers from the squad, that would hurt any side.

Yes. I thought he looked very promising in the Forest game.

If teams only ever played with the same players every week for every minute, you might have a point.

As it is, we've got 2 strikers fit out of 6 (one of who is a kid), and Bruce's top three picks for the left wing position injured. Of course that makes a difference, regardless of your opinion of the individual players.
