Tougher game than the last few, they were really good at Villa Park. No one scores for us except JK. 1-1.

I disagree they were really good at VP, they werent in it for an hour and got the luckiest of all equalisers. That said we'll do well to get a point, 1-1. Oh and I'm going and get to visit Stalybridge Station Bar, real ale and steak pies, hhhhmmmm.

If you get there early enough there is a good pub at every stop between there and Huddersfield.

By all accounts Newcastle were more than a bit fortunate last night. Three goals with 24% possession.

Huddersfield know how to hold onto the ball, we don't. Could be a long night spent chasing. Comfortable win for the team in Coventry colours I imagine.

Unfortunately not, only time for the trail at Stalybridge and Huddersfield itself. Hope Valley was good on Saturday though....oh the advantages of being a northern based Villa fan.

Agree with this. Can imagine it being 2-0 to them and a need for us to bounce back against Sheffield Wednesday on Saturday to ensure heads don't drop in the style of our January slump.

If we had a full squad available I'd fancy our chances, but with two more injuries yesterday it looks like the line-up will pick itself - the eleven who finished the game yesterday - and we'll struggle to have any options from the bench. I'd take a draw right now.

They were absolute shite and should have been four or five down without a hint of exaggeration.

Best kind of result for them as far as we're concerned.  Plenty of effort going into a big game, which they lose in demoralising fashion.

It will be tougher, I agree. First goal.is absolutely key. If we get it, we stand a good chance of winning.

This will be their 3rd tough game in 7 days, I know we have had only one extra days rest, but you cant really say ours have been as tough as theirs. Also their keeper went off injured on Saturday, might not be available. The replacement has had 2 stinkers in his last 2 appearances according to the beeb commentary.

Think this is the end of the run, we'll be outbattled and outrun. We haven't gelled yet. 2-1

Huddersfield put a lot into that Newcastle game the fact they got beat could either spur them on or knock the stuffing out of them.

If I was Bruce I would use our new confidence, get at them early on and try and take the lead. Last week might have been a bit fortunate but gives us some momentum for two tough games in a row, for me 4 points would be a good return this week.
