Are we looking like a comfortable, soon to be back in the premier league team?

I'd take looking like a vaguely competent second division team first, mind.

Sounds like that should have been a pen for Bristol.  Come on boys concentrate!

Adomah lacks the speed to be an out and out winger.
I hesitate to criticise Adomah because I've been on his back for a while. However, he is not good enough!

Why is that though? He was fast enough and good enough to be a near ever-present for the team promoted in second place nine months ago.

So there is demonstrably a player there that is good enough, but if he's not being used properly then he's going to look mediocre.
And he got sacked off pretty quickly by VillaBoro.

How does that change anything I wrote?
Well firstly, he is clearly not rated by the team that used him last season; and secondly, I'd question whether he's getting properly coached  / briefed to be effective.
Either way - his cross tonight notwithstanding - I don't see the game-changer that I expected.

The team that used him last season felt that while he was good enough for a Championship promotion push, he wasn't good enough for the Premier League. Something I'd completely agree with.

The second point is my entire point. He's more than good enough for a Championship promotion attempt, as he's done it before.

He's just not being used or managed anything like effectively enough.
