Hogan has been poor

why single him out from the other 21 ?

Because he cost £loads of millions and has been unconvincing so far.  That's why.

Hogan has been no poorer than anyone.
The poor fucker is playing in a team that is totally and utterly incapable of playing in way that makes the most of his ability

We were solid apart from the usual goal fuck up. Geordie mates saying we've been robbed so far. So let's not let our malaise distort reality of what's just happened.
Only player for me who is the weak link is Mr Iceland. Offered nothing, can't tackle and just try's to get the ball away rather than accept responsibility and pick a pass.

We're doing alright. Lansbury and Hourihane need to do more to get closer to Hogan and use the space he creates.

These have been shit. First fucking shot a goal. Useless defending for the corner.

We will.do them second half.

Well, that's confined us to a 4-0 defeat.  If you predicted tomorrow was going to be Tuesday I'd check the calendar! :)

From my view we've been the better side. The midfield two in front of Jedinak need to show more and we will create

Huff and puff, a bit of effort, no real quality, no real width and hence no goals. Oh for an Ashley Young to provide some bloody service. Leading goalscorer isolated on the left. Rubbish

I thought we played reasonably well that first half. We didn't create a lot but we frustrated them and that's what you need to do at a place like that. It's going to be difficult now they've got that goal though.

Watch hogan's goals. Not many come from sixty yard whacks from centre halves.

I was browsing the leading scorers tables in the Observer yesterday, and the words 'Aston Villa' appeared in my line of vision - 'must be Kodjia' I thought, but no, it was Hogan - 14 goals. Then he comes here and does nothing. Predictable I suppose

I don't recall the team creating many chances for him, do you?

Exactly - that was my point. Not well made obviously

You are right but we have seen such things many times before.
