Sad it happened in that way, if he hadn’t given the guy a new contract whilst not disclosing the facts he knew he might have been able to ride it out.

A two line statement is very poor on the clubs part after 33 years, what he has given the club in those years versus one misjudgement deserved at very least a listing of achievements

I knew him quite well in the 90s and he's a great bloke, very sad to hear the news.

So Worcester have made Kevin Sharp head coach and brought Alan Richardson back as bowling coach.  Solid selections me thinks.

Bears have re-signed Colin De Grandhomme the NZ all rounder  for the T20 Blast this year. Good move and he'll link-up again with Grant Elliott. Hopefully the Bears go one better and win the trophy on home soil!

Adil Rashid won't be playing any red ball cricket for Yorkshire, he's signed a contract just for the white ball game.
