Great start for the Bears bowling attack!  It looks a weak attack on paper again.

Great over from Jeets.

Given us a bit of hope.

Some sloppy fielding going on.

What is wrong I'm Boyder's brain tank?

Not sure what Bell was thinking either.   We had really slowed them down, then Rankin went for 14 and lifted any pressure that was building.

Barker has just been put in the stands as well.  Not a pitch to be bowling short on.

Poor captaincy from Bell. Patel should've been allowed to carry on...

This is tight now going into the last over.  Everyone said we were about 10-15 short and it could turn out to be.  Thomason bowling the last over is risky.

I think that 19th over suggests it was actually a really good call.

I think Thomason for the last might be a mistake though, I'd have gone with Elliott.

And that shows I know fuck all, brilliant over to be fair to him, even the one that went for 6 was actually a decent delivery.

I've criticised Thomason on here before, but he really held his nerve there especially after going for six.  Friday should be a good one now!

Yep, the last delivery in particular took some real balls after getting a similar one hit for 6 a few balls before.  Oddly him messing up the run out in the 18th is probably what won us the game, I can't imagine Kleinveldt would have been as toothless as the young kid was for them.

Really pleased for him. The fact that Bell chose him over Barmy Boyder and Barker for the last over speaks volumes.

Just watching the post match interview with Thomason now - proper Brummie!!  Just tried to look up where in the manor he is from and saw he is a Villa fan.  All criticism is taken back!!
