Glad he's gone. He was starting to lurch from crisis to crisis and making comments that were all to do with protecting his own position.

Last night was a perfect example of how his "expertise" and "experience" were worth f**k all in so many ways.

We need to be very, very careful now about making the next appointment. Someone with intelligence and tactical nous please!

Kevin McDonald Fuck me. Is there nobody else at the club? Bruce IN

Not overly happy about McDonald either but I think you answer your own question there - there isn't anybody else at the club as Bruce's entire team have been swept out. It'll only be for one game is my guess as I think the owners will move quickly to get someone in during the international break. Given that they've sacked the whole lot I wouldn't be surprised if they've already got someone and his team lined up.

Yeh it was tongue in cheek. But it’s always Mr Fill In, but yes I did see it was a clean sweep of the staff. Hopefully it does mean something isn’t far off as a replacement.

He stabilised the club at a time when we were in the brown stuff so for that I’ll be thankfully. Think his time and tactics have come to an end in the current footballing world though.

Just flicking through the channels and, during the build up to tonight's Baggies game, they were discussing Bruce. Liam Rosenior seems to talk a lot of sense. Very different to the usual clichéd diatribes offered by pundits. Bright man.

Laughing at Darren Gough saying that Bruce could be the next Utd manager, jeez what are these people on?

That was great radio.

Thats what happens when cricketers start talking about stuff they know absolutely nothing about. It has the same value as if you asked Jurgen Klopp who should open the batting for England.

It’s a good job there are knowledgable footballers like Merson, Savage etc to provide analysis.

He was the only pundit talking any sense after the Blackburn game.  So-called experts on the Villa, like that pint-sized orange prick Hendrie, haven't got a bloody clue.

Well the new owners have certainly breathed a bit of life into all of us now, eh ?

Indeed. On a human level he's basically a decent bloke who needs a proper break from football after what's happened to him earlier this year. He's looked dreadful for ages now. I wish him well in the future.

I've been singing Liam's praises for a while. Seemed to be the only media pundit prepared to tell it exactly as it was. Sounds like a really clued up intelligent bloke.

Both were the sacked on the 3rd of October, after the 11th league game of the season, which was against Preston.

We had a penalty saved in each game, too.

Both in injury time.

Hold me, i'm scared.

It's going to be Big Fat Sam, isn't it?
Probably has the same aversion to cabbage

Darren Gough supports Barnsley as it his childhood local team, MK Dons as he lives around that area, Chelsea as his two sons are glory hunting Chelsea fans and has a soft spot for Villa as he has a mate who has a box at Villa Park and sometimes joins him. I am yet to discover who his fifth favourite team are.

We could win the next two games but Steve will still be binned when the International break comes.  Stone cold fact

Yup
