MacDonald is going to end up having managed us for more matches than Ron Saunders did.

Between MacDonald's first ever match as Villa caretaker and now this spell I think he has managed Villa for as many years as Ron Saunders did. It was definately time for Bruce to go, particularly with the international break coming up. I would hope our owners have somebody already lined up. Everybody wins now as us Villa fans are happy and relieved and Bruce himself will be relieved to be put out of his misery and happy with the knowledge that he will get a big pay off and always be able to say that he only got sacked because us lot couldn't get over the fact he managed Small Heath. Because I don't think we have heard the last of that myth boys and girls.
