*whispers* I don't think the cabbage throwing is necessarily the classiest thing one of ours has ever done

Agreed, perhaps kohlrabi next time?

There is an argument for waiting for the international break BUT the team is in a terrible state, It is one game at Milwall and imo we have as much chance of picking something up without him, probably more as the fans would be back on side and the players usually react positively  when they know they will have a new management team to impress.

Bearing in mind we have a new DOF incoming, why not give Delaney the reigns for Milwall and for as many games after until we have the right manager appointed.

You never know, we could have the next Eddie Howe currently coaching our U23's. What have we got to lose?

What argument is there to keep him? None.

I always think when the manager says that ' I'm going to carry on until someone tells me different' speech

it's normaly close to the end, it's as if they are sending out a message

hopefully one that will be received

I find it laughable that after the Sheff Weds game he was saying that no-one was protesting before the match and then complains after the Preston game that people did exactly that.

Bruce will focus on the red card, the missed penalty etc. Even with ten men, though, we shouldn't be blowing a 2 goal lead at home to Preston. I've said it before - draws aren't 'decent results' if you're trying to finish top of a league, and we as a club need to break the mindset we developed doing nothing in the Premier League regarding what counts as a good result.

Talksport's blaming us fans for having certain expectations from our team.

They all keep talking about how he did well to get us to a playoff final, and how we were unlucky to lose to Fulham, like we should be grateful to him for that. It's baffling. Xia is ultimately responsible for taking us to the financial brink, but Bruce is also guilty of reckless spending and complete failure to get anywhere near the best out of a lot of his signings.

He can focus on the red card all he wants. Refereeing decisions go against you in football, it's nothing new. All he can do is try to make the right decisions regarding tactics and formations during the game and at 2-1 his decisions were amateur at best.

When Ipswich went down to ten against us, they adjusted and played equally well (if not better)  - which probably says more about us than them - however, as soon as JC was off last night we all knew that the house would fall in, and it did.  Our entire set up does not cater for a plan b whatsoever.  Hapless.

I think credit needs to be given for stabilising the club and stop us from falling further.  Just he has not been able to get out of 3rd gear and really kick us on. The fans see this, Bruce intimates the same now surely the club needs to wake up,admit the same and do something about the situation

The way he talks of that play off final like it's an achievement is driving me insane. Colin Wanker got that rabble Cardiff 2nd last season, we had our chances to take 2nd and we blew it and then in our final roll of the dice we didn't turn up first half at Wembley and got what we deserved.

We need a manager who's target is automatic promotion, not this 'there or thereabouts' top 6 bollocks he spouts week after week.

We are rapidly free falling again.  Now no different to when he arrived except him having wasted millions.

But we all know it's not that easy don't we? If the club could bin him and his useless cohorts without ffp repercussions I'm in no doubt he would be on his way to the Caribbean already with a huge wad of cash. They will be taking the best possible advise now on how to get us out of this desperate situation with damage limitation being the key. Despite the wealth of our owners the club stands right on the brink of a black hole thanks to the utter incompetence of Bruce & co.
