It's absolute nonsense to say we have blown our chances of auto promotion with 37 games to go and only 5 points off first. Get a new manager in now and I believe we can still do it.
With this manager we are done,

One or two previous posts have touched on a certain point that I agree with. Whether you want Bruce out (which is pretty much everybody now) or not there comes a time when the manager is a 'dead man walking' and it is not a case of if he will go but just how soon he will go and the fans, the press and more importantly the players and the manager himself all know it. There comes a point when it is almost a case of putting him out of his misery and at that point (which I think we are reaching) it is best to get it over and done with. I also note four of our next six games are away from home.

Four away games! With our reputation for beating each up, it could be a painful time in the away end if he's still here.

To debunk a couple more of Bruce’s myths. We apparently played well for 20-25 mins in the second half yesterday, I didn’t have a stopwatch on it but surely it was 10 mins max? Then the old trotted out “we lost 6 players from last season and had to rebuild”. I will give him Terry, Snodgrass & Johnstone. I will also give him Grabban but would point out we only had him for half a season. The other two can only be Onomah - who he rarely used and if he felt was so important could’ve got him back as he only went on loan to Sheff Wed on deadline day. Player number 6? Gabby? Who played how many times last season? Am I missing some?!

There's a two week gap between the Millwall and Swansea games

That looks a likely time to act. It will be on the back or away games at Bristol and Millwall too - plus Preston at home which is more winnable  - where on current form we look very unlikely to pick up many points.

It's also worth pointing out that during our decent spell yesterday Wednesday could have scored at least twice on the break.

Despite the summer shenanigans, we couldn't really have picked a more favourable set of opening fixtures.

None of the likely promotion rivals and no local derbies thus far. How far adrift would we be if we had actually played someone decent.

I’ve just listened to his WM interview from yesterday.  Did you know the new owners have breathed new life into the club?

Strange as it sounds the McGinn wonder goal will probably prove to be the final nail in the coffin.

It gave us momentum in a game where we had been 2nd best - it was then a decent manager would have taken advantage and pressed for the win - instead we went back to a safety first approach - put Grealish back on the wing and let them off the hook.

No more excuses.

Bruce is an idiot, trying to claim people will never accept him as he used to play for/manage the Blues...he used that one before at sunderland saying some would never accept him as he was a Geordie.

It’s a load of shit now, was even more shit at Sunderland seeing as they had a statue of a Geordie outside the Stadium of Light....this shit he constantly spouts needs to be challenged.

Apparently we are about to appoint Leicester’s Head of Recruitment as Sporting Director.  Will also have a major say in the managerial appointments.  Nixon saying it and saying it’s bad news for Bruce.

he knows the game's up but sadly I don't see an end in sight until we sort the DoF position. How on earth we are going to reconcile the books is completely beyond me given the likelihood of its happening anyway without the associated costs of regime change. Only Villa, seemingly , could attract a series of billionaire owners and still end up financially embarrassed.
