I thought Bruce did a solid job last season and deserved a go this term after all the summer shenanigans. But we have regressed alarmingly all season. I think his recruitment this summer was a disgrace and unfortunately showed Bruce at his panic buying worst. We are paying the price for it now with a thoroughly unbalanced squad. So much so, that a new manager will really struggle to put together a cohesive unit.

I think it shows his limitations a manager that he is using so many from last season actually.  I can believe, at an almost top level, it's hard to get new players to blend.  But, even harder if you have no discernible style of play at all other than to 'keep it tight and work hard and hope one of the flair players does the business'. 

Without results any manager is toast.  That's where Bruce is.
