First and foremost I want us out of this god forsaken league. It is truly shite being where we are and with whom we have in charge trying to get us out of it.
Some may scoff at Alladyce, but like others have pointed out, he does the basic things correctly. All players would be played in there natural positions and know what is required of them.
Another important eliment we seem to have trouble with is fitness. Again, you just know Allardyce would sort that out.

Allardyce is not my cup of tea long term for sure, but he is better than the chancer we have in charge right now.

sorry mate but its exactly this sort of thinking that's got us right where we are now

Allardyce would probably be better than Bruce but I don't think would be good enough long term. He is, though, so so so much more clued-in and thoughtful than Bruce. He has great attention to detail by all accounts. He just reaches sub-Mourinho conclusions.

The idea that Bruce listened to the fans before signing Hutton again is laughable.  It's the same position we were in when we re-signed Guzan a few years ago.  We were skint, there was no transfer fee involved, and it made sense for both the club and the player.  However good or bad Hutton is, he's still a million times better than the godawful Taylor.

As part of a decent, functional defence, he's absolutely OK at this level as we saw last season.  As part of a completely disfunctional horror show of a defence, he's pretty bad, but still not as bad as Jedinak.  It really isn't Hutton's fault that we've gone from having the capable Elmohamady at right back and John Terry at centre back, to a young inexperienced kid out of position at right back, and a hopeless old knacker playing next to Chester, in front of a shit new goalie.  The entire thing is a recipe for disaster, which is why we're right up there with the worst defence stats in the Championship.

For crimes against football, Hutton is Bruce's most minor charge.

Hutton might be average, but honestly that's fine at this level - as long as its only a few in the squad.

At least he is consistently average which is more than can be said for a lot of our players.

I don't think it's bad thinking to state that Allardyce would be a better organised manager than Bruce. He wouldn't make my top 10 of choices to replace Bruce, but he IS a better manager than Bruce.  If it was a straight choice between Allardyce and Bruce, I'd go for Allardyce.  Not that I want him at all, I'm still hoping for our version of Pochettino or Wagner.

I remember when Hutton joined us thinking he was one of the worse defenders we'd ever signed. I'm not sure if he's got better or the standard has just got lower but i wasn't against us giving him a new contract. The whole bizarre bin him in January because he's too expensive if we stay down/not good enough if we go up, then re-sign him when we're broke, then try and buy a replacement a few weeks later....well like Adomah, i suspect he likes to keep Bruce in front of him where he can see him.

Not sure if this has been posted already, but the below are from a Leeds fan on Twitter.  Sums it up quite nicely, IMO;

Have to disagree, i'd say he's absolutely as bad. Which makes his standing with some of our supporters even more baffling.

Well, we'll have to disagree on that one.  I've barely seen Taylor have a single even passable game.  Hutton has had some good and very good games.

Well you certainly don't sound like you need an object lesson in dysfunctional behaviour from anyone.

We will. When Taylor first came i don't recall anybody moaning about him for quite some time. He was solid. And probably offered the same, if not more than Hutton going forward. Granted they may have been zero.

He's got 3 games to take 7-9 points. Lose at Blackburn and he's a goner. It would be 5 league games without a win and 3 points from 15.

I've had enough now.
