I’m unsure wether to sack the manager now, I know over the last 12 months he’s had his share of personal problems, which puts football results in the shade, if and it’s a very  big if ,he is responsible for the makeup of the current squad and they haven’t been foisted on him, the he must surely be considering quitting at the moment, otherwise it looks like he has not given his job much thought or effort and his players who won’t need many excuses won’t put the the thought and effort in either I hope he can turn it around ,but having seen his latest interview he appears to have given up which is odd considering he is yet to play two of his star loaners

Dr Tony could not afford to sack him in the summer, that much is pretty clear and I have a horrible feeling that he knows he is on borrowed time, so he will continue to deflect blame when ever possible. The longer they leave him in charge the more players he is going to lose, Albert is one already gone and yesterday appeared to show a few more are well down the road.
As for the squad, yes it looks strong on paper, but playing for a manager that is that blind to playing players in correct positions and also being able to motivate and organise a team we could have 11 Ronaldos in the squad and still be piss poor.
He is also very quickly losing the ' I am a nice bloke' outlook as he blames everyone but the main culprit himself. Chancer.

I don't think he'll last too much longer. Partly because he hasn't left himself with the defence he needs

Don't think Purslow is going to arrive in post, work with Bruce on Abraham, and then sack him all within a fortnight

Can’t be long before he ‘loses the dressing room’.

He’s lost it already from what I’ve heard. Added now his treatment of Adomah who is a popular figure in the dressing room

I've been accused of  only commenting  on our failures.

Might be true.... I kept schtum through our Draws and Cup Loss.
We have now achieved a "walking Joe" a walking midfield
A beffudled Defence
Injured loanees signed up injured.  ???

Our new CEO may have questions... regardless of the HEAP-OF-PRAISE  that Steve has vomitted on him and our Forbes Billionaires.

Jose said years ago, and then proved it... the RICHEST MANAGER'S are the one's  SACKED MOST OFTEN. I thought that was just a cynical throw-away comment
- BUT it wasn't ...it was a truism

Whatever Jose may get when Man Utd dispose of him, will probably be better than living alone in a Hotel in Manchester.
He's getting close to Zidan taking over... Playing people out-of-position, re-structuring the Defense, not playing his signings, ABUSING his players...  :(

Seems like a Template for Removal.

Steve ain't thick... He's read that template.

Praise the Owners before you go...Check
Blame the Players before you go ... Check
Praise the Owners before you go...Check
Blame the Reserves  AGAIN,,,, Check
Praise the Owners before you go...Check
Don't Play Signings...Check
Praise the Owners before you go...Check
Claim Most of First Choice Didn't Train All Week....Check

Praise the Owners before you go
...Check

Steve has read the Template, and is working to it ~ imo

Could Henry have been worse ?

I won't attend again until Bruce is gone Two years of this turgid shite is enough.I'm simply doing what we accuse him of doing - doing the same thing eek in week out and expecting a different outcome.

If he does go please don't let us bring in a big Sam or moyes.  Let's bring in a manager for the long term.

I backed his appointment, and have been behind him ever since, but...

I travelled to Burton and Sheffield. The problem was not simply the results, some you win, some you lose. It was the performances. The team did not look capable of winning.

He should have until the winter window.

I keep reading we have a great squad, but have we? We have one centre half and one ineffective left back. It's a dereliction of duty on Bruce's behalf to leave us so short at the back until at least January.

Taylor was a highly competent left back in Premier League and also in Euro 2016. Maybe he has a bad attitude, as per McCormack, is there any evidence?

As others have said, time for Purslow to earn some of his loot. He got rid of Hodgson (who is 10 times the coach Bruce is) as a last act at Liverpool, so this surgery and replacement should be comparatively easy.

For a man that’s made a big deal about needing “a good start”, can anyone say that a 50% return rate is acceptable!?
That even without taking into consideration the dwindling performances and the failures over the last two seasons.
His time is up! He won’t walk (for £2m reasons why) so it’s down to us to make a swift decision.
During the Henry rumours it took an age for the club to ‘support’ Bruce which showed they were giving serious consideration to making a change imo He survived, just.
He won’t get lucky twice
