Now get on with some business. He couldn't get us up with the team last season, he needs 2/3 to have a chance this season because with what he has he isn't good enough to do it.

So the next question is how well will he spend whatever money he gets.  I don't trust him in the slightest but I think we had no other option.

In my opinion a mistake. A chance to start fresh not taken. That said they’ve taken a more pragmatic approach and had this meeting happened in May/June I’m convinced he’d be gone. Anyway fuck it. We have to get behind him now and the team. He’s no doubt on a very short leash. You better get it right Steve you jammy, jammy bastard.
Well said. That's bang on the money.

Me either, we’re stuck paying the utterly useless Hogan for the next 3 years because of him.

In a moment of weakness I was considering a family season ticket but absolutely no chance now.

I will happily hold my hand up here. It has been a movable feast this week and I was a few hours behind my own arse sharing it. Fuck knows what changed. The weather hasn't though and I am sucking up the sun on holiday.

I would have given him the tin tack the moment I took over but they've seen fit to support him now he will need to rejig the squad. Whether that's fully blooding the younger players or a series of loans it remains to be seen.

It’s the sensible option (and cheap one). Get us up now Bruce. No ifs, buts or there or thereabouts..

The squad needs additions, since they’ve made the decision to keep him(which must be down to timing) they can’t just let it drift.

I hope that, in addition to telling him they support him fully, they also informed him that you are actually allowed to attack in the first half of games. Because apparently he doesn't know.

And also that playing long ball football with Hogan on the pitch is fucking stupid.

I've just met them briefly and I get the impression that they want stability first of all. Bring in a CEO, sort out the hundred little things that have grown to become one huge problem,  then let the people they employ do what has to be done.
