I hope his first action is to apologise for that quick free kick wot he took against us and scored from. It was super-snide and being a snide is a really bad thing to be.

In fairness, I still blame Halsey more than him for that. If he'd have called it back like he should have, it would've long been forgotten. There was always some shit with Halsey, every time he had one of our matches.

Halsey actually helped him take it. Stood over the ball then moved away like it was a training ground routine. Fucker.

Absolutely, there used to be a thing called ungentlemanly conduct and this was a perfect example.

Whether Bruce goes or not he at least a deserved to be treated with a bit of respect.

Absolutely, i'll hold the door open for him to leave.

This 3rd richest in the league rubbish means nothing. The owners of QPR were supposed to all be billionaires weren’t they.
We are not being invested in to win a pissing contest with Wolves or Blues, hopefully we are seen as a good investment that with some clever backing will see us becoming competitive amongst the PL again, and therefore profitable on the initial investment .  If Henry is part of the strategy, so be it.

I've just read something on the Birmingham Mail site ( I know!) where Bruce is talking about the takeover and saying "It just feels like I'm starting again, we've lost something like 7 or 8 of the players that started the play-off final........" Erm, really, fucking master of spin or what...Johnstone, JT, Snoddy, Grabban.....I've had enough of it I really have.  Why don't the people interviewing him pick him up on it?!!

He's still here after that debacle at Wembley. He's had more than his fair share of respect. He's lucky his arse doesn't have a boot print in it.

Thierry Henry to Aston Villa: Steve Bruce reveals reaction to Daily Star exclusive

THIERRY HENRY verbally agreeing to become the new Aston Villa manager came as a shock to current boss Steve Bruce.

By Luke Gardener

The current boss said: “I blurted my coffee out this morning when I read about it, my phone was going crazy.

“It’s not really about me, I’m delighted for the club itself. We’ll know more in the week.”

Bruce has also opened up on what he expects from the potential new ownership at the Championship outfit.

He explained: “Yeah the indications I’ve had were, but that might all change. It doesn’t worry me. I expressed my allegiance to the club three or four weeks ago when it was in trouble.

“I’m delighted for the club and the supporters because managers, players all move on. The club doesn’t and it has a wonderful support.

“I hope I’m given the opportunity. The indications were all positive a few days ago from conversations I’ve had with representatives of the new people. So let’s just wait, it’s their prerogative, they’ve given the club that little bit of stability again. Any club at the top needs stability, guidance and deep pockets.

“If you buy Aston Villa you’ve got to have deep pockets and it looks as if these guys have got that.

“That’s for other people to judge (if Bruce has earned the right to stay).”

Yeah, I saw that one as well, I really wanted them to ask who's fucking fault it was that half the squad left the next day.

Assuming the quotes are fully accurate you do have to admire the man's candour.

Most of that was from quotes over the weekend and they've spun it to sound like they've interviewd him.

True, his inability to count is already established though, for example last May he'd only been here 6months which wasn't enough time to do anything.

I've got exactly the same feeling now that I had this time last year when we were linked with John Terry. I don't want Thierry Henry as our boss. Seems a bonkers move. And the new home kit is shit. Please Villa some decent news.

Absolutely. What a shit rag of a paper.
Still the majority of sheep will just digest it so papers like the Star are doing their job.
The answer?
Don’t buy papers such as the Star unless you need lining for cat litter trays.
