I hope his first action is to apologise for that quick free kick wot he took against us and scored from. It was super-snide and being a snide is a really bad thing to be.

In fairness, I still blame Halsey more than him for that. If he'd have called it back like he should have, it would've long been forgotten. There was always some shit with Halsey, every time he had one of our matches.

Did Zola achieve all this at Blose ?

No, but it was like putting glitter on a dog shit. With us it will send a different message.

Henry's name would raise the profile of the club and potentially attract better players. That's a good thing surely?

Did Zola achieve all this at Blose ?

Who cares what Zola did down the road at a shit club with a shit squad? Redknapp was fucking shit for them as well so by your logic we shouldn't appoint someone like Bruce either.

No. But as I said earlier the twonks that run that shit stain of a football club aren't the third wealthiest in English football.

Halsey actually helped him take it. Stood over the ball then moved away like it was a training ground routine. Fucker.

So, how did Henry get the assistant manager's job with Belgium?

Oh dear. Have people started posting this fucking nonsense already?

They never learn.

Being 'third richest' is of little use if we can't spend it. Not that we would regardless.

But being 'third richest' is an indicator of a significant level of business acumen isn't it? I think that's the point being made.

It's an indicator that we used to expect the best, then we started to settle for second best, and now third best has us excited.

Everyone out!

I will never post here

I will watch from afar but can't help think we are being mugged off by Daily star exclusives !

Didn't you say similar before Villa got dicked by Brentford?

No it was actually to do with Hogan I believe and hIm signing  or maybe it was him in a certain match to score !

If I remember correctly you said Villa would win by three clear goals. They failed miserably.

Timing of Thierry's appointment not good though, so close to the start of new season. It's a hell of a gamble.

Remember the bad start we had last year? Didn't do us any favours in the end!

On a human level, it's a pity, if predictable, that the news leaked out before Steve was told to his face that he was sacked.

Fake news or not...

I know TH is untested, but as far as can tell the positvies are:

- he isn’t Steve Bruce
- he’s worked with and under some of the best modern coaching infrastructures in modern football
- he is well connected, and well respected across the higher levels of the game
- he has a winners mentality
- he can raise the profile of Villa above the embarrassment that we’ve been the last few seasons
- he can speak better English than all five of our last managers
- did I already mention, he isn’t Steve fucking Bruce?

Whether Bruce goes or not he at least a deserved to be treated with a bit of respect.

As for Henry, it would be a serious gamble, could be a Zola like appointment. Could also be a Zidane like one.
