I dont think Bruce spent anything like £30million.

Particularly not if the outgoings are considered during his time....Amavi, Westwood, Ayew, Gestede, Baker, Bacuna, Veretout at al

he got rid of them because he didn’t want them and and spent the money on his players building his team
they are still all with us

Aside from Baker (who wasn't all that either) those outgoing players either flattered to deceive or were outright shite.

I'm not trying to defend Bruce, more asking for those who say 'get rid' to use a reasoned argument.

Bruce is accused of wasting money on old plodders - who are they?

Tery?
Snodgrass?
El ehmadi?
Whelan?

Have I missed anybody?

During the season 2 of them were lauded by most on here and fair minded supporters coud see merits in the other 2.

Of his signings you could certainly criticise Hogan and maybe Lansbury but the rest were relatively cheap and there'd at least be money back on the empties.

So why is there so much concern that he can't get a decent return with what will left of the squad this season?

y

I read it on here
I didn't tally it all up myself

he's bought in quite a few players I'm quite prepared to accept being wrong
what do you make he's spent on bringing his own buys in
If it's no where near 30 what is it ?

New poll required in light of Xia's 'open letter'?

We're stuck with him. Nothing more to add since the 'letter'.

What do you mean by labeling it as a  'letter'?

I don't think it is so much the money that Bruce spent on the players but the idiotic and utterly stupid wages that we have paid them, which makes them virtually unsaleable!

He spent whatever he was allowed to spend by the club, assembled a wage bill that I believe was larger than anyone else in the division and then here's the part in the month of July he seems to have got totally away with, s He Failed in his objective , yes He Failed, were still in the Championship, the drawbridge has been pulled up on the wallet, we have a squad with gaping holes in and now looking for kids to fill those holes, that maybe have max 30 games between them, will Bruce go for those kids, who if and I know its a big if, would help with FFP, because their wages are not big, if he has a choice I would like to bet a large amount on the answer being No and he goes  -with the likes of Huth, McGoldrick. Stupidity is doing the same thing time and time again, when it does not work and we are going into
the 2018-19 season with a stupid owner and a stupid manager.
