He won't be here come the end of the week unless Wyness is far more persuasive than I give him credit for with Xia.

You'd think Wyness' own position might not be safe either.

Whoever comes in, should he go, will still have a really good squad to work with.

Having both Kodjia and Grealish fit for a season would be nice. Better mobility and the there being no Fulhams or Dingles left in the league and those coming down being cloggers.

Very decent bloke who has had an incredibly tough time personally. I think he deserves a lot of credit to have got the club moving in the right direction again but ultimately he’s had a massive resource advantage to achieve a target he’s paid handsomely to deliver. He’s failed and I can only see one outcome.

It would be a quick u-turn on what he said yesterday after the game.

With every shred of personal respect for Bruce he has not had an incredibly tough time.  He has lost two much loved parents in a short space of time.  It is the inevitability of the aging process.  It happens to us all.  Many people, me included, are glad to have demanding stressful jobs at a time of bereavement to help get over the personal loss.  It is a distraction from the curse of mortality.

I can only say, I'm sure Drummond will back me up on what I've heard and the integrity of the chap. He's a mutual friend.

Some people might find that incredibly tough to be fair.

Brian, I am glad you posted that and I completely agree.
Whilst I have every sympathy for Bruce, he is not the only one who has had to carry on despite personal circumstances.

Many people carry on after much greater personal tragedies.
It’s the way of the world.

How he has handled himself this season has no bearing on whether he is the right man for the changed circumstances of the next one. He isn’t.

Agreed. I doubt if I'd be able to cope very well at all if I lost both or either of my parents.
