I don't share the doom and gloom about getting out if this league
it's shit and very low quality, two out of the three of the teams that went up were the only ones at least trying to play some decent football

you can do it the Bruce Pulis way because Warnock has proved that can work but it's a very short term thinking aproach and one we need to ditch now
which is why I would stay clear of Alardyce, Moyes, Pardew (all available) we might as well keep Bruce if that's the way we are going because they are all cut from the same cloth

the right manager who can work with our young players Davis, O'Hare etc and a couple or three cute buys not old experienced short termers and championship plodders

start playing football with a progressive forward thinking attacking aproach and we would be up in no time imo

the manager being the key to all the above

Carvalhal would be my choice

But I think they’ll keep Bruce unfortunately

If you drew up this profile without knowing who I’m talking about, would you bite? A European coach who resigned after a second consecutive promotion taking a club with a small budget into the top division, who is known for being determined, cool under pressure, doesn’t suffer fools, who has a core of steel, had a playing career in the top European leagues, captained his country and knows exactly what our club should be.

He's been my choice for the last 6 months but it's still a big risk
as would anyone though

Go on, my brain isn't working well enough today to work it out. Who is it?

Carvahal is a short term option only. Wednesday went stale under him and he couldn't get a tune out of Swansea

I'd take Olof or Solksjaer.

Aston Villa should not be a first job for any manager but those two have shown in their, admittedly short, careers to date that they've got something about them.
