Today was the same as so many games under Bruce, we look less than the sum of our parts and also look as though the main plan is keep it tight and hope someone does something.

Ultimately, this is nail on head and what Steve Round and Keith Wyness are paid to see too.  I'd like them to at least put the feelers out in other directions.

I think it would be good if we could keep off the "fuck off Bruce" type of posts it would be good, we are better than that.

I think he has tried his best, in a difficult year, and he has been given the resources, but it has fallen short.

Perhaps he's a bit of a dinosaur but it didnt stop Warnock did it ?

Without knowing who is available its hard to know if he is the best option, but I think Tony will go for someone new. No idea who though.

He's shown immense dignity and fortitude, but his brief was promotion which he hasn't achieved.

His lack of tactic or plan b has potentially cost this clubs it's short to medium term future. This isn't in isolation to this game. He can fuck off.

I concur that "the fuck off" comments really are beneath us.

Pretty much my thoughts.

The guy hasn't disrespected the club either at any point unlike a few other managers we've employed in last 15 years.

He wasn't good enough to get us up, it happens.

It shouldn't take a miracle for us to be challenging the top 6 in the division next season.

I felt different when we lost in 2015. Our team broke up and suddenly we saw how crucial players like Delph and Benteke were for us. Also factor in the gulf in quality between teams in the premier league.

I still think we'll go up in next two years. Today we fell short but at least we've started winning games again and competed at top end of a league for first time since 2010 so that is a small thing to build on.

Needs to go as soon as the dust settles. We've given him two cracks at "instant" promotion. Now with the money cutbacks kicking in and the need to build on potential/youth rather than loans/old stagers he's made himself redundant.

I just want my boy to see a team with Gareth Barry, Ashley Young, Olof Mellberg quality players. We took it for granted and it’ll be a while before he gets the chance. Steve hasn’t brought us any closer.

We need someone young and dynamic who’s given a full close season to start to get his ideas across.  I would consider JT, who has to start somewhere, so why not with us? Or Fat Frank if Derby don’t take a punt ?

It was shit or bust. And we bust. If I were in Mr Bruce's shoes I'd wrap it in. Sometimes there are more important things than football.

Fat Frank with Terry who’d have ever thought we’d see that as a good idea. But maybe it is.

Terry is a good shout.

No need for Frank.

I like the idea of Terry as a manager, but its certainly a massive job for a novice. Take out the loans, and the one's going  - that's 6 first teamers gone from today's squad including Terry. Plus any players that we get good offers for. Hell of a rebuild job
