Another season in this shit fucking league and fuck knows what the future holds for this club. When it mattered Bruce reverted to his default negative safety first shit. It was enough against a garbage Boro but cost us today. Fucking load of old shit. Second half showed we should be playing to our strengths, not fucking shitting ourselves over fucking Fulham.

We are fucked PWS we will need a huge dollop of imagination and luck to escape in the next 3 seasons

He will no doubt leave now.  But I’ll save any post mortum until the disappointment of losing to an inferior team subsides.

Inferior in stature presumably? Because they’re a much better footballing side.

Bye Bruce. Nice chap, not quite good enough.

Been good enough at other clubs. Pretty sure this is his first time he's finished top 6 in this division and not gone up.

God knows what continues to go wrong at this club. Yet another no show at Wembley.

Gone tonight. Come up with something more substantial. Than dignity and family deaths please. We all fucking have them and manage to do a our comparatively poorly paid jobs.

Sorry mate, but that's really not classy at all.
Is it not apparently it a reason to keep him reading some shit on here. I went to work when my dad died cause I had to I went to work whilst my wife was battling mental illness that was destroying our lives. It's no fucking excuse.

They were better than us over the season and they were better than us on the day.  Fair play to them; at least they turned up and were positive.

I hope he’s gone in the time it takes the stadium to clear.

Some of you need to get a fucking grip.

We didn't win, we didn't go up. It's football.

Football has moved forward. Fulham played how successful teams tend to play now. Cardiff are an anomaly.

Bruce has failed to do what he was brought in to do, how is saying he should go needing to get a grip?

I know what you mean but 'disappointment' doesn't cover it me for me.  Not at the moment.  Not much to look forward to: another long hard slog with less money and probably fewer players.

I think I would get rid. I’d like to know which players we can keep hold of first though, and then get a manager to fit with that.

We didn't go up and that was literally his only target, he's got to go.  If they'd played brilliantly I'd be less pissed off but the truth is we gifted them the easiest half they'll have played all season and a goal lead, just like giving everyone a head start in the league meant we were always an outside bet.

If we still had money I'd probably keep him on as he would get us around the top 6.

Having to replace the loans and all the over 30s...nah not the man for that type of rebuilding job imo. We gave him the scope to get in all the experience last summer and so the gamble of signing 4-5 players with a short shell life hasn't worked so he'll have to face the consequences I'm afraid.

I think above all we need to appoint someone who can actually coach the players into improving. We all know the limitations of SB's type of management and it was visibly evident in the first half which cost us big time.

Easy option to state but I would say the time is right to probably get in someone like Dean Smith.

He's got Brentford to two top 10 finishes so relatively proven at this level now and the system Brentford use means he has to coach and improve players from lower leagues.

I didn't think the time was right to appoint him a year or so ago but it's worth a shot as it will be a more low key transfer window this time and we'll have to shop in the punt rather than proven market.
