On the eve of the one of the most important games in recent times and people are more concerned with reminding everyone of Bruce's faults. I don't get it but each to their own.

No they're not, no one has talked about faults, this is saying that finishing 4th in the 2nd division isn't a massive achievement for Villa.

No it's not, but it's done. We get another crack at it tomorrow. It's not what we wanted but it's what we've got.

On the eve of this monumental match, I would like to wish Aston Villa, Steve Bruce, his players and all you supporters where ever you may be, the very best of luck for tomorrow.  I sincerely hope that tomorrow evening we may, at long last, the tide turning in our favour.  Mind yourselves people and if you're going, give 'em a shout for me.

No they're not, this is saying that the turn around from the downward spiral we were in is the significant achievement, not necessarily the 4th place finish.

I think, to be honest, we're all just very interested in discussing the Villa at the moment, and there's only so many times you can say 'mind Ryan Sessegnon' so naturally people move onto other subjects.

Good luck Steve - you've acted in a very dignified and courageous manner in the past few months. I hope you win today for your parents.

Think that's the first time he's ever finished top 6 at this level and not got promoted.

We'll see what happens next.

I would say that first half sums up his limitations as a manager that have reared up many times in his 18 months here.
