No one has said he has lost the dressing, so there's no apparently about it.

I reckon he has lost the dressing. It would explain why he appears to be avoiding salad.

Also incorrect. I meant dressing table, obviously.

Which he did eat, thus avoiding the salad.

Marco Silva been suggested in twitter. Type of long term forward coach to consider in the summer.

Pretty amazing anyone could think that sacking the manager now is either a. desirable or b. within the realms of possibility.

I am far from convinced by Bruce, but whilst in a play off position, with five games of the regular season to go, sacking the manager?

That's the sort of thing shitty plastic clubs like Crystal Palace do.

On the other hand you have to ask yourself a. does he look like he can change things around and b. would anybody else do any worse?

It's Catch 22 for me. Damned if we do, damned if we don't. What a mess.

Anyone else would have to be recruited, installed, familiarised with the set up, get his own team in, get them up to speed, and get better results than the incumbent manager all in the space of five matches.

Not a prayer.

Got to agree. It would be insane to get rid now.

My remaining clutch of straw is he by all accounts had a very similar run the last time be took Hull up. What should have been an automatic promotion fell apart in similar fashion yet he still managed to get them up. He's going to have dig deep again and use all the experience and luck he has to turn it around again.

If it's that simple why's there such a thing as a new manager bounce?

Well it's roughly a 25% chance of going up from the play offs, obviously then adjusted by form and strength of squad etc.  Even with our supposedly better squad than the rest of the play off candidates, I wouldn't put our chances of going up at much better than 30%.

Bring in Thomas Tuchel

Tough choice between us and PSG.
Tuchel will not get PSG gig or Bayern. His stock has slipped from super coach status to top coach.

Reported over here as having agreed to take over at Arsenal.

Has anyone at any time sacked a manager while his team is in the Playoffs? (Assuming we qualify)
We’ll just have to see what happens!
