Y'know you may just be right. To carry on doing the same thing( i.e. same manager cocking up time and again) and to expect a different result is madness. See my comments on the 'Where do you think we will finish?' thread. And until today I was still backing Bruce.

How have Leeds got on with the constant changing of the manager?

He looked a broken man in the post-match interviews.  Hopefully he's now had a flash of self awareness that he's really not up to the job.

Hopefully he hasn't otherwise that would mean we are going into a play offs situation with a manager who has lost all belief in himself.

Reset the poll. See how many support the twat now.
I'm in the category that have changed mind on Bruce. I would keep him now.  It is not where we want but there has been significant root and branch progress. The years of long, slow, decline has been painful. We are at present a good championship side with lots of potential and improving on and off the pitch. The latter is not linear, but gradual over the season. Not good enough yet, but better.

Good point, then all we need to do is sign some of the best players in the world.

Not in this league. The best players in the Championship will do. Hang on...

How have Leeds got on with the constant changing of the manager?

How have Chelsea got on?

you pick 1 club where it has worked.

how did we get on 2010 - 2016?  How did Newcastle get on prior to Rafa?  there are many more

so 1 club where it works proves it's the way we should go despite Chelsea being the exception rather than the norm.

Erm, you only picked one example.

Aston Villa, Leeds and Newcastle are not 1 club.  i'm not great at maths but even i know that is 3.

As i said there are many more but i really can't be bothered to list them all.

But as you said if it works for 1 club in the 92 it is clearly the best way to go.

There is the princely sum of ten managers who have been in position longer than Pochettino has at spuds. Mick Mccarthy is one of them.

Constantly changing managers isn't the problem, it's constantly failing to pick the right manager.

I'm just fed up of the inconsistency. We've underachieved this year relative to our size and keep dropping points against some really poor sides.

The cluelessness of the past two away games has been incredible.

We should have been far more competitive. Now we're hoping to wrap 4th up as quick as we can. 7 points will do it.

Pretty amazing anyone could think that sacking the manager now is either a. desirable or b. within the realms of possibility.

I am far from convinced by Bruce, but whilst in a play off position, with five games of the regular season to go, sacking the manager?

That's the sort of thing shitty plastic clubs like Crystal Palace do.

Even though he is out of his depth it would be patently obvious he'd be given a shot next season if we got promoted. I know there are no morals in football anymore but I'm pretty sure he would deserve a chance the first 8-10 games. His job this season was to get promoted.

In the even he doesn't get us promoted via play offs, he should be told immediately after returning to dressing room that he is no longer required.

No ifs, not buts, no maybes as a former PM once said.

I wouldn't waste the first 8 or 9 games. Whenever and however the season ends, he should be sacked.

I don’t think that we’ll realistically sack Bruce before the season ends.  He’s done a shit job with the resources at his disposal however, and it’s very easy to want to vent at his failure. We should be easily top two.
