The second the season ends, sack him.

Agreed. Promoted or not.

...if we go up via play-offs no one will be complaining

Exactly
Yes we just have to turn up and we will be fine.

He's dropped the ball at a crucial time.  Still if we go up via play-offs no one will be complaining.  When you look at the state Villa were in when Bruce took over we have improved a lot.  But maybe he's taken us as far as he can.  Only time will tell

It's not only time that will tell. I will tell you, before time, that he won't take us up.

And yet time gets all the credit. It's not like I'm not relative.

Hasta Mañana. C'est la vie. That's the Championship.

After the events at Ninian Park last night, you have thought that Bruce would have delivered the team talk of his life today. From the touchline, there was no inspiration just confused looks and bewilderment. He is finished

I have my doubts on recent form, but you never know.  If we pick up a bit before the play-offs then I think we're in with a shot.  Like I said I would be more confident getting Cardiff than Fulham.

Don't agree with the people saying sack him no matter what.  If he gets us up then its job done at least for now.

At whatever point our season ends, the man should be relieved of his duties.

Yep. I’m absolutely fucking done with him.
I think we have more of a chance without him in the play offs.

It’s not going to happen though is it? So no point us fans looking at it as even an option. We’re stuck with him until the end. Whatever that is.
If you were given the choice of saying Terry we need you to get the guys organised for 3 really big games at the end of the season, or carrying on with Bruce’s muddled thinking.
What would you choose.

This is a ridiculous suggestion, nothing like it has happened before and it won’t happen now, plus John Terry is a wanker. However, I  honestly think we”d have a better chance with him than Bruce, fuck me, he’d rise to the  challenge.

As shite as I think Bruce is at this getting us promoted thing, it'd be utter madness to can him now.

The worst thing about Bruce is the way we amble into pressure situations. We shambled our playoff effort last year and shrugged our shoulders when it went tits up. We started shockingly last year and it was all 'the season doesn't start until it rains'. We smashed Blues and caved absolutely next game. We tonked Wolves and were humilated at home to QPR. There's been no time under Bruce wher I don't assume his motto is 'what will be will be'.

No, last story was a different situation.  Getting into the play-offs was always going to be a long shot. We would have had to have won pretty much all of our games at the end of the season and even then would have been hopeing for others to slip up.  Even the best teams have down periods in the Championship.  It was never realistic to expect us to go up last season considering how poor we were the first half of the season.  This was always going to be the season to judge Bruce's reign.

if this were the start of the season he'd be gone so it's not entirely stupid - in fact it might be more idiotic to stick with him given that we  still need to cement a play off place.

Whatever happens, he cannot be our manager come and of May. Sack him whether our season ends at Millwall
, the semi finals or Wembley.

The result doesn't matter, he is not good enough and ought to be sacked.

Wait but wasn't our form worse at the start of the season than now? Think it would be a big ask to expect someone to come in now and lead a play-off charge.  I say we stick and if Bruce doesn't get us up we twist.

Bruce has already started to get his smokescreen going with media stories about how sensible he has been with greedy agents.  Reminds me of Fox saying how good shirt sales were.

I could perhaps accept that argument if he'd come in in January, but ne did have most of the season. In fact, today reminded me loads of that game away to Fulham last season when Kodjia was sent off. Big chance blown.
