By the way, we should just go and fetch Bielsa in.

It's okay it all because of injuries.

http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/42493849

If we didn't have injuries we'd be fine. No other club has injuries. Look at the list it isn't all that long. By adding Gabby that is barrel scraping

It isn't the number of injuries, it's the quality of players injured. No club wouldn't suffer from having the best defender in the league and last season's top scorer out for a long period.

Cardiff have had their best striker out from Mid October. He only returned on Saturday.

It's not like we have a bargain basement squad, we have a 12m striker in reserve and another one loaned out. Hardly any other championship club has that luxury.

Yes, for once we're lined up, he's out of work.

Yes, although he's only out of work because he was absolutely terrible in his last job.

When we announced the Villa Engine way of playing, Wyness said it would go up through all of the teams except the first XI, as that was a special project. Well, maybe it's time for a manager who can set up that way. Bruce certainly isn't that man, and it should safely rule out all of the old school managers. It doesn't need to be a stellar name with an immaculate CV, just somebody who has a distinct way of playing and developing talent that complements the youth teams. Smith could easily be that man.

I wouldn’t think Wyness has ever heard of him

Smith could be the man or he could be the new Graham Turner. I'd love him here as coach, not sure about manager.
