I came into this season, expecting to be in the mix (at least) for automatic promotion. I did so based on the so-called experience of Bruce, the cash and time he's had and the number of games he's been in charge. What we know of Bruce after 24 games this season is no different than what we suspected last season and certainly knew after the first 6 games of this season, yet he's still in charge! I'm beginning to question whether the likes of Xia or Wyness want to get promoted because they are just sitting meekly by accepting what most other people can see. In his post match interviews Bruce needs to start with the word "I" because what he is saying about the performances and the players is very much attributable to him. Now we are looking at the playoffs at best and even to that end we are playing catch-up! This is simply not good enough. The time is right for a change, if only to try and reach the playoffs. Bruce has brought us as far as he can I fear!

unlucky (re injuries) and tactically inept (re the last 12 months) doesn't really cut the mustard does it? Time to jog on.
Totally agree.
We are by far the biggest club in this poxy division. Our squad should be able able to cope with injuries etc.

It’s been no secret that as a club we have set ‘points targets’ for runs of games. When we went on our last bad run Bruce made no secret that we were behind plan. Would love to see where we measure up currently vs what Xai expected........
Mid season performance review time. No where near good enough. To be as far away from the leaders as we are is a disgrace.
We won’t go up with him here so why not just get rid now, plan longer term and just hope the new man has a Gregory style impact. This season is not lost but I’m afraid it is under the current manager

Reading between the lines I take it you're not his biggest fan.

Thanks for the insight there Mr L.

And there was I, thinking if he had any more splinters in his derrière it'd be a hospital job.

just seen this in an old article about SB after he was sacked at Sunderland

Unlike many modern managers he did not coach the team himself, delegating that job to his assistant, Eric Black.

He needs sacking for this !!!!!

Can we sack him and pay his compensation without being hit by FFP rules?
Just asking

Hes only on a yearly rolling deal so wouldn’t cost a fortune to get rid

I guess it depends on how big any severance payment would be. There's always ways to balance the books, mind.   ;)
