Newcastle got Rafa. You never know.

They were still in the Premier when they got Rafa. He'd never have joined them in the Champo. But when he stayed on there was no doubt at all he'd get them back up. He was always, always going to do that. We need someone of that stature, someone who just isn't going to fail. No fucking idea who that is.

I have been impressed with Brentford any time I have seen them (which is usually against us).

But then Shane Long looks world class against us.  Clayton Donaldson looks like Dennis Bergkamp against us.   We are no barometer of quality.

Terry is in the process of getting his badges, but hasn't got them yet. He posted a picture of himself studying for them a couple of months back.

I think with the right coaches he could do a job. If he manages like he plays he'd not only have some tactical awareness but he'd send the team out believing in themselves. One of my problems with Bruce is in this division we are the biggest fish and Steve Bruce seemingly isn't a big fish manager. Oddly, he'd probably have kept us up when we were heading towards the trap door and an increasingly tiny sprat in the top flight. He'd also probably get us promoted in five years when we are just another faded memory.

You need a strong chairman to bring in real changes. If the club said right, we're giving a guy 3 years to turn it round, and it might not be pretty for this season and next, the majority of us would get behind it i think. Rather than the promotion or bust thing with Bruce. That in turn gets you better choices because managers are more willing to join if they think they have time. Chopping Bruce and getting some new specialist at promotion well...just glad pulis is signed up

the other good thing for me at the moment is if we do go for a change sometime soon most of the other Bruce clones have already got themselves fixed up
