If this isn't the time, I wonder how terrible we're going to be when it is.
Can't wait for his presser?

Genuine question here because in amongst the criticism of Bruce is that he's bought a load of duds. Do people think this squad is promotion material? If Tony pulls the trigger today is the bare minimum for any new manager the playoffs? Or do they get a bit more slack?

Righto lets get him gone then Tone. If you dont we are down here for a while. I genuinely fear we are going to be one of those "Oh yeah Aston Villa, they used to be a big" clubs.

Bollocks to the man, sluggish, boring, slow, unimaginative. Manager and side both fit the description. We look and play like one of Bruce's morning after Kebabs. Fucking attrocious football.

To be fair, we've already become part of the big four legged chair.

Leeds, Sheff W, Forest and us.

Now Pulis has a job we can sack him. But who would replace him. Terry has no managerial experience and would he want it as his first job?

Dean Smith may be an answer but would he leave Brentford after seeing the mess that Villa are in? Then again, the manager may be the cause of the mess and Deano may have a solution.

Personally i'd go for a complete rebuild, but it is possible we could go up with the right tactics and confidence. Gambling again i guess

The truly awful thing is how comfortably we've slotted into place.

Just seen on Twitter we're only 4 points better off than this point last Year. Hes failed with both time and money to build a team which looks anything like contenders. Xia and Wyness have failed as well though

Well you are both probably right. :( But the only way its going to change is by getting a good manager in and players who are skillfull.

Well we may get a chance to see if the squad can actually play some football rather than hoofing, huffing and puffing.  It would be nice for example to see if Grealish, Hourihane or Lansbury can put some decent balls through to play to Hogan's strengths.  Some of them look like duds because of the way Bruce "prepares" and plays them.

I think I voted to give him to Christmas, despite a good run against the divisions cannon fodder he’s been completely found out against higher standard opposition on virtually every occasion we play anyone in the top half of the table. The football hasn’t improved, he’s relying on experienced older players who can’t match the athleticism or technical capability of the opposition, relying on nous.  He’s been given money in both windows far in excess of any other club in this division and has had no discernible impact on our style of play. We’re 4 points better off than a year ago.

Football has moved on in this country in the last 5 years at both Premier League and Championship level and I’m afraid Bruce is still stuck in the 1990s and he and his coaching team have shown no ability to move with the times.

I’m changing my vote to out unless he gets two wins in the next week, it really is the last chance saloon.

I think there is enough to get to the play offs. The squad is good enough for automatic but the points and momentum are not there.
If you could see genuine progress and an effective way of playing ( the complete opposite to last season) then more slack if we fail to get play offs.
