What a lovely Christmas present for Boro fans that is, having that boring bastard take over your team.

I'd take four points from the next two games. I personally don't think Bruce is going anywhere.

Depends how trigger happy people think Tony is. He certainly was with RDM. I think he'd survive possibly with 2 draws at Boro and Brentford. Obviously a win would take a bit of pressure off. But two losses, and faced with sanctioning some loans in January wanted by a manager doing this bad currently... I don't know if he would.

A calendar month without a win....hope to god Dr T would pull the trigger if that happens!

I don't wear my baseball cap to bed it is true.  I have a lovely head of coal black hair.  I keep it with my false teeth and Viagra.

There is a billboard on the Dan Ryan express way that says
“Don’t die with your teeth in a glass” With a picture of said dentures.
I will allways think of you when I pass it. :)

I personally don't think he will be sacked whilst we are in the play-offs/top 8 (which is the absolute minimum he should be achieving)

You have to bear in mind all throughout Dec we have been without our best defender and best centre forward

Lack of cover at CB is his fault though.

Precisely. The squad is imbalanced and that's Bruce's fault. It was Bruce who felt the need to bring in yet another right back last summer, meaning there are now 5 right backs at the club. Meanwhile we could all see that if Terry or Chester (and to a lesser extent Taylor) got injured then we could be in trouble due to lack of quality cover in those positions.

Especially as Baker can cover two positions.

I liked Baker but let's also remember, not many people were too gutted when he left and he seemed to pick up a lot of knocks himself.

Pulis seems an odd choice for Boro in their position.  Guess their going with his experience to steady the ship, and just hope there will be a bounce effect.  If they were likely to get promotion this season I could understand the appointment more.  Bruce will be with us till the end of the season.  That's the way it should be.  If we miss out on the play-offs then its time for a change.

Still better than Samba, Elphick, Jed.

Surely the point with Baker is he didn’t want to be a back up in his mid 20’s. With Terry coming in he knew he was a rotation player as long as the starters stayed fit. That Terry got hurt wasn’t inevitable. In fact Baker getting hurt at some point was more a guarantee. If he wanted to go the manager obviously thought with the other players at the club he had sufficient cover. Of course I’d rather have Baker than Samba or Elphick. But if the player doesn’t want that role you can hardly blame him for wanting to go.

Down to 8th as it stands, the pressure must be mounting on Bruce. Tough games to come too. Tiny Penis will be busting a gut to beat us too. Wanker!
