The answer to our problems is a good manager. Go get one Tony.

I wish we'd stuck with Di Matteo

Don't talk shite.

What, because I think he'd have done a better job than Bruce?

Yep. Utter bollocks.

I'm sure there's a bus we could chuck ourselves under and save some bandwidth. Fuck me.
Your man is condemning us to another season in this division.

Times ticking Ads, you are calling people out on Bruce every week. The top three or four teams do not appear to be slipping, and we are consistently mediocre - whoever we play.

All I keep hearing is that he's a "dinosaur", but no one specifies which one.

T-Rex sounds too exciting, so I'd go for a Stegosauros.

Top three team, until a few weeks ago, lost again today at Preston and find themselves below us. We're within touch of the automatics. Nobody wants the gap to increase but there's a fuck tonne of football to be played.

Mark Hughes may be available tonight. That would be a Villa thing to do.

Some will jump on the lose a game and they all come out of the woodwork, like they want us to lose. Well I never want us to lose, but lose or draw, this is not acceptable for the amount of money spent on the squad, the wages being paid to the squad and the manager who I am sure is one of the best paid in this division, and I would bet more than a few in the division above him.
Injuries are part and parcel of any season and yes we have lost key players at a crucial time, but the mind set of the team is set up by the manager and when you play first and fore - mostly not to lose, have players in that team that when things are going well, or your flat track bully approach is working and they appear to be playing well, to me a perfect example is Snodgrass, but when they are not, you have no way of finding a different approach, you are out of your depth.
If you want to save your job Bruce, give the team some freedom, if injuries hit, try what has got you some breathing space up to now, look at your under 23,s, if not Dr X get rid and get rid before January 1st.

We just don't play it well enough.  Wolves are miles ahead, have just broken a few records for this stage of the season, so we can forget about them.  With Kodjia out, we're completely dependent on Adomah for our goals, and when he doesn't score, we struggle.  There's no way on earth we're getting promoted under Bruce this season.

Good run looking more like blind luck and Adomah playing out of his skin than anything else.

A few weeks back ads commented about Sheffield United being certain to fall away because Clarke wouldn't keep up his scoring run, I tried to point out that the same was true about us and Adomah and 3-4 people lost their shit with me and yet he's stopped scoring and we've got 2 points in 3 games and could well see the gap to the automatic promotion spots extended to double figures by the end of the day, I didn't want it to happen but the near certainty from some that we'd be fine and probably in the top 2 by January was always hearts over heads stuff.

As I said all along the thing that was going to scupper us this season was winless runs, after 22 games we've now had 3 runs of 3 without a win and that's just not good enough because it means the wins are just making up lost ground.  I went with 5-8th in the summer and I've seen nothing to suggest that wasn't a fair guess, far too often we just don't turn up.  If being in the mix for the playoffs is enough then fine, we carry on as we are and hope we win the lottery, but for me I'd rather see us try to start changing the culture at the club now and settle for the playoffs but with a team that's spent 4-5 months learning to play in a way that is a little less short term and that's exciting enough to have the fans really buzzing.

That was never going to last. He was never going to keep that up. We just doing look a threat and when you couple that with stupid fucking errors like Whelan today, then it’s only going to end badly.
No, there is ONE major factor with the good run.
It pretty began and ended with Kodjia being available. Even though he wasn’t scoring, he was causing real problems.

We won 4/5 without him before Leeds. Not that it makes much difference to anything.
