I don't think that disapointing start has made a massive difference. If anything for me, it's games like Hull and Boro at home which have made us worse off than we should be.

I think somebody needs to explain how the points system works to you.

Apart from that, a perfectly valid point.

Look at the table after 5 games and again today, we're the same amount of points away as we were then.  Since we've had 12 games of form that would have us in the mix for the automatic spots but that's not what we need, we need to be better than that because we allowed a gap to open.  It may well be that in 5-6 weeks we're going into the new window with that gap closed and we can say we've recovered from it but that doesn't mean it didn't make a difference.

We need to beat both Cardiff and Wolves at home to narrow the gap. Not impossible.

Agreed. I was annoyed when he said it's only the first few games. We've been playing catch up ever since. I just hope it's not the difference between top 2 and play offs at the end of the season.

Not his biggest advocate.  If we go up then the only real credit I will give him will be his ability to get the right sort of players in.    His  tactics baffle me and not even sure he knows his best 11.  Certainly hasn't the ability to change it around to suit the situation e.g. Blues and Wolves.

Would much  prefer the likes of Dean Smith to be controlling the playing side of our club.  Better to watch, and working with a  better squad would have full confidence that we would return to the holy grail.

He's turned round a losing mentality that had become firmly ingrained into the club and created a team that actually look like they give a shit It's been a hard slog but it all appears to be falling into place now.

Away form looks sorted now, that's pleasing.

We're still strong at home aswell so that mix is good enough for top 6 at very least. Sheffield United will go on a winless run at some point so we need to be winning when that happens.

Wow! After centuries of debates about God, the big bang theory and us all evolving from fish it turns out that the answer to the question was 'Hull'.

I'd rather have Bruce than Moyes.

I wasn't too sure but reading Moyes post match comments tonight, I have to agree. Both may be old farts but give me Bruce every day of the week when it comes to man-management.

I'm not sure it's even close.  Moyes is on a downhill trajectory the likes of which are very rarely seen

Apart from the fact the West Ham fans hate absolutely everything about the owners, the new ground and the new manager I think the media are exaggerating their discontent.
