The dinosaur thing is a red herring anyway. It's not about old fashioned tactics it's about having no obvious plan at all.

Can a dinosaur be a red herring as well?

I didn't want him but always accepted him as a decent chap.

Now I don't want him and he's doing my head in. Its all being manufactured to him being the good guy in the press when he finally fucks off and that we never gave him a chance blah, blah.

I've hardly heard any dissent at games. Even the other night SB's claret and blue army was being chanted by the Holte in the first half.

SB is really barking up the wrong tree with the frequent fan criticism. It's not even like we're on a 5 match winning streak when managers usually come out with sniping, we've won one league game all season.

Today was the sort of presser a manager on his last legs gives. He is almost the knight in Monty python now.  He knitted he's jumped the shark, he knows what he's done isn't good enough and he does not have the attacking skill to turn it round. A bit like an out of form batsman, we need to get out there and take a few swings and play with a bit of freedom to Gibbs form but that's not in Bruce's DNA.  Press conferences like today make me think he's been told lose and your out Steve.

At least he tried to attack.

"If I go, who are they going to get who's any better?"

Well Steve perhaps someone, anyone,  who can get the most expensive squad in the league up to the giddy heights of 17th after a year in charge.  Such as the 17 managers currently above you on a fraction of the budget. Or someone, anyone, who can achieve more than a point a game.  Or who can play some entertaining attacking football and score more than one fluky deflected goal in three games.  Or perhaps just someone who actually knows what  bleeding day it is and that Christmas was nearly 9 months ago (he can't conveniently discount close season as that's when he should be preparing the team and squad). Increasingly desperate.

This is absolutely brilliant!

His sniping after Norwich was weird, we won and won well so why have a dig at the fans?
Now I just can't listen to him.

It's pretty straightforward Steve. Win some games and you'll be popular. Blow our promotion chances in the first six weeks of the season and you won't be. How has he not gone yet?
